Summer is coming to a close and we had an unforgettable August downtown at our weekly Sound Bites outdoor concert series!
Last month, we were thrilled to have a number of talented local musicians and entertainers curated by ALMA join us, which included:
Week 1: DJ Josiah French with headlining performers Confections with Macy Marcs and Generational Wealth
Week 2: DJ QJ and headlining artist K.La Jay
Week 3: DJ Tayler Hadden with headlining band Tres Leches
Week 4: DJ Splash with headlining artist Perry Porter
Week 5: DJ Splash with headlining artist Oranj Goodman
Each week, rotating street vendors from the Black Night Market, Spaceworks Tacoma, and Never Heard brought unique offerings downtown for Sound Bites visitors to shop, while The Matador, Seoul Bowl, Vego Eatz, and Sam Choy’s Poke provided concert goers with delicious food and drinks to enjoy.
The Downtown Tacoma Partnership’s Sound Bites summer concert series would not have been possible without our incredible event sponsors and community partners including Sound Credit Union, Shaub Properties, Court House Square, the City of Tacoma, NW Stage, Puget Sound Family Health, and ALMA.
