WHAT WE DO
In 1988, the Downtown Tacoma Business Improvement Area (BIA) was created to keep downtown safe and clean. As the city has grown, we have grown as well into the Downtown Tacoma Partnership. Today, we continue to maintain expansive safe and clean services, while also providing community beautification, transportation services, and retail support and recruitment. Look for our team keeping our downtown streets safe, clean, and welcoming.

LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Downtown Tacoma Partnership is led by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of property owners and their representatives. The board meets monthly to provide direction and oversight in achieving the vision of a Downtown where all of Tacoma comes together.
CLEAN TEAM
Our clean team is hard at work keeping downtown vibrant and fresh. You can see them removing graffiti and cleaning the streets. Look for the bright yellow jackets and be sure to say “Hello!”
