Here at the Downtown Tacoma Partnership, we are always working toward making Downtown Tacoma the best place possible to live, work, and play.
With our mission always at top of mind, our staff and members of our Board of Directors attended the 70th annual International Downtown Association Conference in Seattle where more than 1,400 downtowns from around the country and world gathered together to innovate, share best practices, and discover new ideas.
Since 1988, our organization has proudly provided safety, cleaning, and welcoming services to our downtown, and we were thrilled to continue our education even further at this year’s conference.
Our staff studied and tackled topics focussed on placemaking, organizational success, activating public spaces, addressing retail vacancies, and fostering a vibrant downtown for all to enjoy.
We value these opportunities that provide us with the insights to better our community, and we look forward to applying all that we learned right here in Downtown Tacoma.
