UW Tacoma’s campus is located along 46-acres of the southern edge of Downtown Tacoma with views overlooking glorious Mount Rainier and the Port of Tacoma. Students and faculty can enjoy being just steps away from great restaurants, exciting shops and attractions, along with incredible museums and historic architecture. The campus renovated beautiful century-old buildings that were built by businesses that depended on the Northern Pacific Railroad, which ran along campus grounds during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Today the historic buildings are used as modern classrooms and have received architectural awards for the transformation.
If you’ve been wanting to make your dream of college a reality, UW Tacoma is still accepting applications for freshman and transfer students for Fall 2022.
