As the season of giving gets underway, Downtown Tacoma businesses are stepping up in a big way to support our neighbors in need. From food drives to fundraisers, local shops and restaurants are showing what it truly means to care for the community, and to make sure everyone has a meal on their table.
Tacoma Businesses Organize Virtual Food Drive
A group of local businesses including Cocobolo, Cygni Tattoo, Elu Yoga, Shop Conmigo, Studio C, Union Salon, Wooden City, and more have joined forces as Tacoma Businesses Team Feed in an effort to end hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks.
Together, they’re rallying the community around a simple but powerful message: everyone deserves to be fed and cared for.
These businesses are inviting the community to donate and help reach their goal of providing much-needed meals to local families. Whether you give a dollar or share the message, your support helps bring nourishment and hope to those who need it most.
Noble Studio Launches Holiday Food Drive
Noble Studio is also giving back this holiday season by hosting a food drive from November 1 through December 31 to support local families who are struggling to put food on the table.
How you can help: Bring in non-perishable food items throughout November and December during business hours at Noble Studio. Donations such as canned goods, boxed meals, rice, pasta, peanut butter, and other pantry staples are all welcome.
Every donation, big or small, helps feed a family in our community.
“Let’s show Tacoma what community love really looks like,” the studio shared. “Give what you can. Share what you have. Lift each other up.”
Drop-off location: Noble Studio at 1102 A Street
Dates: November 1 – December 31

Each small act of giving helps ensure that no one in Tacoma is left behind this holiday season.
eTc Tacoma Launches Shirt Campaign to Provide Grocery Gift Cards
Alongside food drives and fundraising efforts across downtown, eTc Tacoma is stepping up to support neighbors facing food insecurity. In response to the increased need created by changes to food assistance programs, eTc has released a special-edition T-shirt, with 100% of proceeds funding grocery gift cards for local families.
Gift cards in $50 increments will be distributed directly to community members on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two per household. Cards will be redeemable at major grocery stores including Fred Meyer, Safeway, WinCo, and more — ensuring families have direct access to nutritious food and essentials.
The shirt is available for preorder, and each purchase helps put food directly into the hands of Tacoma residents who need it most. This is community care in action — rooted in Tacoma pride and the belief that everyone deserves support.
Pre-order the eTc Tacoma community support tee and help fuel this effort.
How You Can Help
Whether you’re donating canned goods, contributing to the Team Feed fundraiser, purchasing a support t-shirt, or simply spreading the word, every effort counts. Stop by these participating businesses, shop local, and support a cause that strengthens our city from the inside out.
