Kelly’s Olympian, the third oldest bar in Portland, is making its way to Tacoma!

Kelly’s Olympian will be located at the Rhodes Center Complex located on 11th and Broadway. The building was recently purchased by J Squared Investments. The owners, Jeff and Jacqulyn Mincheff, are excited to be bringing a Portland classic to Tacoma.

Mincheff, along with his two partners, bought Kelly’s Olympian Portland almost 20 years ago. Since purchasing the iconic bar and restaurant, they have expanded to become a live entertainment venue.

Along with the Rhodes Center, J Squared Investments has recently bought other historic buildings in Downtown Tacoma. Their goal is to strengthen the soul and gutsiness that Tacoma was founded on in its current renovation efforts.

As for Kelly’s Olympian Tacoma, J Squared Investments wants to create a lively and inclusive atmosphere. A place to gather with friends, listen to live music, and enjoy good food is what Kelly’s Olympian is all about. J Squared Investments would love the restaurant to be a historic spot in Tacoma a hundred years from now. They see what Tacoma has to offer and can’t wait to connect with the people in it.
