Bites On Broadway

Take your lunch break outdoors with Bites On Broadway, a weekly food truck gathering featuring a rotating lineup of local favorites. Grab something delicious, find a seat on the plaza, and enjoy a midday break in the heart of Downtown Tacoma.

Broadway Farmers Market
Thursdays | 10 AM–2 PM
Make the most of peak summer produce at the Broadway Farmers Market. Each Thursday, more than 45 local farmers, artisans, food producers, and small businesses fill the plaza with fresh fruits and vegetables, colorful flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, handmade products, and more.
Visitors can also enjoy live music, community activities, and a lively market atmosphere while shopping directly from the people who grow and create their food and goods.
The Broadway Farmers Market continues every Thursday through the end of September.
Northwest Metaphysical Market
Saturday, August 8 & Saturday, August 22 | 11 AM–5 PM
Explore the mystical side of Tacoma at the Northwest Metaphysical Market. Browse crystals, jewelry, handcrafted goods, artwork, wellness products, readings, and other unique finds from a diverse collection of local vendors.

Caribbean Queens Festival: Carnival in the Streets
Sunday, August 16 | 11 AM–6 PM
Experience the warmth, rhythm, and flavor of the Caribbean as the Caribbean Queens Festival brings Carnival in the Streets to Theater Square.
This free, family-friendly community celebration will feature live music, Caribbean food, a vendor market, family activities, and a community costume parade. Visitors are invited to spend the day enjoying vibrant culture, colorful festivities, and plenty of opportunities to dance, eat, shop, and celebrate together.
Host Your Event at Theater Square
Located in the heart of Downtown Tacoma’s Theater District, Theater Square is a vibrant outdoor gathering space that hosts everything from markets and performances to community celebrations and special events.
Owned by Pierce Transit and managed by the Downtown Tacoma Partnership, the plaza is available to reserve for public events and activations. If you’re interested in bringing your event to Theater Square, reservations are required and can be requested through our online application process.
