Cellophane Eyes is Sarah and Travis Leever, who met at age 16 and have been partners in crime ever since. Their music is comprised of short songs derived from improvisational jam sessions at their home, Space Planet. Composed of a bass guitar and vocal effects, their songs have very few to no words, but are packed with imagery and meaning.

Their songs and aesthetic are inspired by bits and pieces of their childhood, from 80s fantasy films like The Neverending Story, to 8-bit video games, mixed in with vulnerable and sobering reflections on their adult experiences with mental illness and neurodivergence. Through this work, they welcome you into their personal haven of childlike wonder, chaos, escapism, and alternate realities.

Clay Beds is the collaborative project of John Anderson and Hailee Rogers. The duo met and began recording and playing music in Boston in 2013, re-locating to the Pacific Northwest in 2016. Both John and Hailee have unveiled unique solo works as Pon(d)scum and Xaxu, respectively, yet their combined efforts under the newly-launched Clay Beds moniker signals their strongest and most accomplished material in their fledgling careers.

Whimsical, wet, and wonderfully weird are a few words that come to mind while listening to the six tracks found on Clay Beds' debut release. All created and produced while forming roots in their new rain-soaked home of Tacoma, Clay Beds' initial offering confidently combines John's experimental electro-acoustic production talents with Hailee's evocative choral-tinged vocals in kaleidoscopic and enveloping fashion. There's strong hints of gauzy dream-pop, intricate electro-pop, and aqueous psych-pop seeping through each song, yet moments of hip-hop, R&B, and trap are craftily folded into moments along the way, allowing each track to exist in its own distinctive zone.

Axi-Ohm is the stage name used by Tacoma multi-media artist Lucien Vedego, who's been doing his part to bring a sense of cosmic wonder to the South Sound for a few years. As Axi-Ohm, Vedego creates swirling, atmospheric electronica that can just as easily lull you into a trance state as it can get your heart racing. Axi-Ohm's descriptor is “the alien boy” – an apt title, given how otherworldly his music can be.
