While St. Patrick’s Day falls on Tuesday, March 17, many of the festivities will take place throughout the weekend of Saturday, March 14, giving plenty of opportunities to celebrate with friends and explore downtown.

From daytime fun to late-night festivities, here are a few events and places to add to your St. Patrick’s Day plans.
Incline Cider House – St. Paddy’s Bingo

Feeling lucky? Head to Incline Cider House for a special St. Paddy’s Day edition of their popular Boozey Bingo. Enjoy cider, play bingo, and compete for themed prizes in a lively taproom setting.
The event is free to play and hosted by the Incline taproom team, with everything from classic bingo rounds to blackout bingo. This year also adds a new twist—winners will spin the prize wheel for taproom deals, snacks, merch, and more.
St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma

Start the St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a little movement and a lot of fun. The St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma features a festive 5K that welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Participants will enjoy themed swag, a post-race celebration, and plenty of community support along the course.
Pro Tip: Looking to warm up before the run or recover afterward? Visit Rainier Athletic Club, located right at the start and finish line at 819 Pacific Avenue.

Explore Downtown Tacoma’s bar scene during the St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl. Participating bars will feature themed drinks, drink specials, and a lively atmosphere throughout the evening.
Whether you’re looking for a classic pint of Guinness or a creative holiday cocktail, the pub crawl is a great way to experience several downtown spots while celebrating with friends.
St. Patrick’s Day at Steel Creek

Steel Creek is hosting a high-energy St. Patrick’s Day celebration filled with music, dancing, and festive drink specials.
The evening begins with Irish-inspired dinner specials before the dance floor comes alive. A free line dance lesson kicks things off at 8 PM, followed by DJ music and dancing across two dance floors starting at 9 PM. Guests can also enjoy Jameson specials throughout the night and participate in a St. Paddy’s costume contest for a chance to win a $500 cash prize.
McMenamins St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Tuesday, March 17 | 2 PM – 10 PM
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day inside one of Downtown Tacoma’s most iconic historic buildings. McMenamins Elks Temple will host an evening of Irish-inspired food, drink specials, and live entertainment throughout the venue.
Guests can enjoy traditional fare, Irish beers, and live music in the Spanish Ballroom while exploring the many unique spaces inside the Elks Temple.
